DESCRIPTION:The Pennsylvania State Police\, in conjunction with local law enforcement\, host the catch-and-release fishing event. \nHeld at the Greencastle Sportsman’s Association\, the event pairs children with police who mentor them on fishing and fishing techniques. \nThe participants learn how to bait a hook\, how to cast\, how to release fish safely back into the water as well as many fishing tips from police. \nYouth between the ages of 7-17 /  9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m with a rain date of September 17\, 2023. \nThe daylong event is a way for children to get to know local law enforcement in a positive way. \nContact Officer Jim Bradley at 717-597-9506 ext. 244 or send an email to jbradley@greencastlepa.gov for more information. \nRegistration limited to the first 75 applicants.
