SUMMARY:TURKEY BEARD MEASURING
DESCRIPTION:Turkey beards are a meaningful memento of success in the field—one with the potential to provide ongoing pleasure limited only by your creativity. \nAccording to Turkey & Turkey Hunting magazine\, a 2-year-old gobbler’s beard usually measures 8 to 10 inches. When it’s 3 years old\, a gobbler’s beard will have grown about 14 inches. However\, few toms have beards that long because bristles wear off at the tip as the beard grows. \nBring your Trophy to the Membership Meeting and see how your luck stacks up against GSA Members !!

SUMMARY:DEER HORN MEASURING
DESCRIPTION:Scoring a rack may seem like a somewhat complex process\, but when you break it all down it’s pretty simple. \nThe four main measurements that you’re looking at on a rack are the length of each antler point\, the mass between the points\, the length of both main beams\, and the width between both main beams. \nThere really isn’t much you’ll need to score a rack. Just a flexible tape measure\, and a piece of paper to keep track of measurements. \nThe order in which you take these measurements isn’t relevant. Just make sure you get all of them! \nBring your Trophy to the Membership Meeting and see how your luck stacks up against GSA Members !!
