
The Pennsylvania State Police, in conjunction with local law enforcement, host the catch-and-release fishing event.
Held at the Greencastle Sportsman’s Association, the event pairs children with police who mentor them on fishing and fishing techniques.
The participants learn how to bait a hook, how to cast, how to release fish safely back into the water as well as many fishing tips from police.
Youth between the ages of 7-17 / 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The daylong event is a way for children to get to know local law enforcement in a positive way.
