These regulations are intended to increase the number, quality and size of panfish through the use of minimum length limits on sunfish.
“Sunfish” includes Bluegills, Pumpkinseeds and Redear Sunfish.
The increase in quantity and size of panfish will help grow bass over 11″/1lb into 19″/4lb.
Bass under 11″ may be taken out of Lake – fewer smaller bass equals more forage for larger bass
